- Print the pages you need, or type into the fillable files. Entries and totals in the PDFs are manual.
- Connected offline companion
- Enter box records once. Generate labels, a first-night list and three planning outputs. Jobs and handovers need their own inputs.
- Your files, your backup
- No account or cloud sync. The companion needs a desktop browser and an explicit JSON backup; it does not update the PDFs.
One useful example / Fictional move
One reference.
Less searching.
Alex and Jo give their kitchen essentials a simple ID: K-01. That reference follows the box into the new home.
- Record: K-01 · Kitchen · kettle, mugs and tea.
- Pack: put K-01 on the box label and mark it for the first night.
- Move: link K-01 to “Make tea accessible at 18:00”.
- Settle: find the box by room or contents; unpack the essentials first.
Reuse the ID by hand in the PDFs. The separate companion generates matching outputs from your records.

Follow K-01
through the move.
Alex and Jo use the same K-01 reference in their paper register, label, day plan and first-week priorities. These examples use the supplied templates with fictional entries. PDF entries are manual.
The single START_HERE.pdf includes the filled box-register example and setup instructions. The 18 blank templates are separate working files. The companion generates its own print sheets; neither browser tool edits these PDF forms.

Know what to expect.
- Three prepared starting lists with practical actions you can adapt, alongside reusable planning records.
- Link a box number to its contents and destination room.
- Keep booking, cost and service-change notes in their own records.
- Identify first-night essentials before they are packed away.
- One entered box record generates selected labels and first-night records in the offline companion.
- Add your own job times, owners and fallbacks, with references to existing boxes.
- Combine destination room, box status and first-night priority to find a useful group.
- Select or clear matching labels together; review how many selected boxes are outside the filtered view.
- Build each moving-day job with searchable box checkboxes, room groups and a visible 12-link limit; apply or cancel the draft explicitly.
Practical limits
- PDF totals are manual. The fillable versions accept text and checkboxes; they do not calculate.
- Undated templates, with fixed layouts; they do not link to an app or calendar.
- Printer, paper, ink and a PDF reader are not included. Test one page with your own printer.
- The license allows personal or internal organisational use, not resale or public redistribution.
- Bookings and address or service changes are completed by you; the pack sends no messages and makes no arrangements.
- Quotes, costs and totals are manual records, not automatic comparisons or payment instructions.
- Offline companion edits are in memory; export and keep a JSON backup before closing.
- Companion outputs are separate from the PDFs; they do not edit or synchronise PDF fields.
No spreadsheet software is needed. Separate fillable files accept text and checkboxes. PDF totals are manual; these files do not calculate or sync. The companion needs a desktop browser. Companion edits need an exported JSON backup, up to 512 KiB. No automatic save or cloud sync.
Test one page first.
- Choose the PDF that matches your paper: A4 or US Letter.
- Open it in a PDF reader and select only the template pages you need.
- Set the paper size to match the file. Choose Actual size or 100%; do not enlarge the page.
- Print one test page first. The templates use 15 mm margins and a low-ink layout.
- Check that the edges and writing boxes are visible, then print further copies for your own use.

The details that affect your choice.
Are box labels or adhesive labels included?
Four plain-paper box label cards are included on template page 16. Print at 100%, cut by hand and attach securely. They are not aligned to commercial adhesive sheets.
Does the checklist update an address or book a mover?
No. It helps you record the actions and confirmations yourself. You contact providers and complete any changes directly.
Are these files editable or fillable PDFs?
Yes. Separate fillable A4 and US Letter PDFs accept text and checkboxes in a form-capable PDF reader. Clean print versions are included too. Save a copy and reopen it to verify your entries. Layouts remain fixed; there are no automatic calculations or reminders.
What paper size should I use?
Use the A4 file with A4 paper or the US Letter file with US Letter paper. Print at Actual size or 100%, with the matching paper setting. Start with one test page.
Can I print a page more than once?
Yes, for your personal activities or the internal use of one organisation. You may not resell, give away or upload the reusable templates publicly. Read the included license.
Is anything sent to the store?
No. These are downloadable pages. The store does not receive what you write on the printouts or collect it through a form.
What does the offline companion add?
MOVING_COMPANION.html opens locally in a desktop browser. One box record feeds labels, the first-night sheet and box references in your moving-day jobs. You enter times, owners and handover observations separately. Export JSON to keep edits; the HTML does not store entries inside itself or edit the supplied PDFs.
Can I print labels for one room or a group?
Yes. Combine the box search, room, status and first-night filters. In Print, clear the label selection and select matching boxes to print only that group. Hidden selected boxes otherwise stay selected; review the count and preview. Filters do not affect the other four outputs or remove records from your backup.
How do I choose the boxes for a moving-day job?
Enter the job details, then search its labelled box checkboxes or choose a room. Tick individual boxes or use Link matching boxes. Up to 12 boxes can be linked; larger groups must be narrowed. Hidden choices remain listed below the checkboxes and can be removed. Add / Apply job saves the draft; Clear / cancel discards it. Job filters do not delete boxes or alter label choices.
