Essential account and checkout cookies

Foldlark uses essential cookies for the sign-in session, request protection and checkout attempt. On HTTPS these cookies are HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax. The account cookie lasts up to seven days, the request-protection cookie up to one hour and the checkout-attempt cookie up to 24 hours. The server independently verifies session validity and revocation. These cookies support functions you request and are not marketing consent. Authentication tokens are not stored in browser local storage.

Cart and optional drafts

Browser local storage remembers selected product IDs in the cart and, where a tool offers it, drafts you choose to save. These remain until you delete them or clear site data. If local storage is unavailable, some features keep data only in memory and explain the limitation. A temporary cart-link fragment can carry selected product IDs; it is removed when opening the cart. Local browser storage is not a verified purchase history, and clearing it does not delete a server-side paid order.

Audience analytics and controls

Audience analytics is optional. On eligible public catalogue and editorial pages, Google Analytics 4 loads only after you choose Allow analytics. Essential only has equal standing; no Google request or analytics cookie is created before an affirmative choice or after refusal. Account, cart, checkout, support, policy and browser-tool pages are excluded, as are visits containing a query string or fragment. Our page-view code sends the public page path with a fixed site title and an empty referrer; it does not send search terms, form values, planner contents, login details or order information. Enhanced Measurement and Google signals are disabled, and advertising consent remains denied. Google may process technical request information, including the network address needed to receive the request. When allowed, the first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies have a 28-day limit without renewal on each page. Your choice and this disclosure version are kept in a Secure, SameSite=Lax preference cookie and browser local storage for up to 180 days. A browser privacy signal keeps analytics off. Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time to withdraw; this stops future measurement and removes accessible analytics cookies. Withdrawal does not erase reports already processed. Clearing site data can also remove local drafts and the cart or sign you out; it does not delete a server-side order.
