Controller and requested functions

The controller is JOSE CARLOS TORRES CARVALHAL / Foldlark, at the seller address and support email in this confirmation. We process information needed to provide requested account access, accept and verify an order, deliver entitled files, issue fiscal documents, handle support and protect the service. This includes your email, the billing information required for the transaction, purchased editions, amounts, payment references, consent wording and times, contract-confirmation receipt, and necessary technical request and security records. We rely on contract performance, applicable legal obligations and legitimate interests in security or resolving a claim, as appropriate. A purchase is not consent to advertising or newsletters.

Providers and payment data

Cloudflare serves and protects the site and processes technical requests, including network addresses. Supabase provides account authentication, order records and private storage for this service in its configured European region. Stripe processes hosted payments and related checks; card details are entered with Stripe, not stored in Foldlark's public pages or workbooks. Moloni processes the legally required fiscal documents. Email infrastructure delivers requested sign-in, support and transactional messages. These providers may process information under their applicable roles, agreements and international-transfer safeguards. We disclose only what is necessary for the relevant function and do not publish your account, orders or billing details.

Local files and storage

A workbook, downloaded PDF or private local editor does not send its entered records to Foldlark merely through use. Browser tools that offer local drafts store them on the current browser/device when available; exported backups are files you choose to keep. The PDF Print Studio reads selected PDFs and prepares output in memory without storing the source PDFs on our server. The cart remembers product IDs locally, not payment details or a purchase record. People with access to the same device may access local files or browser data. Clearing site data or using another browser can remove or separate local drafts. Third-party spreadsheet cloud storage or annotation apps are your separate choice.

Retention and rights

We retain purchase, consent, contract and fiscal supporting records for the applicable legal retention and claim periods; Portuguese accounting supporting records normally require 10 years, and a particular obligation or unresolved claim may require longer retention. This does not promise permanent product hosting. Account sessions are limited as described in the cookies information; local drafts and cart data remain under your browser's controls. Contact geral@foldlark.com to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection where applicable. We may need proportionate verification and cannot erase records that must lawfully be retained. You may complain to the Portuguese data-protection authority, CNPD, or another competent supervisory authority. Optional audience analytics remains separate and requires the disclosed choice before any activation.

Optional website audience analytics

With your consent, Foldlark uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to eligible public catalogue and editorial pages and improve the site. It is optional and does not affect browsing, purchases or account access. Google receives a public page path and technical information used to process the request, which can include network address, browser and device information and analytics cookie identifiers. Our code excludes personal form inputs, search terms, URL queries and fragments, account and checkout details, and local planner data. Automatic enhanced measurement, Google signals and advertising features are disabled. The legal basis for this optional measurement and storage is your consent. You can refuse or withdraw through Cookie settings; browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control keeps it off. Analytics cookies expire within 28 days and the choice lasts up to 180 days. User-level and event-level retention in the property is limited to two months, without resetting on new activity; aggregated reports may remain longer. Google processes this data under its applicable analytics terms and data-processing safeguards, which can involve processing outside the EEA. Contact geral@foldlark.com for privacy rights or questions. Withdrawing consent stops future measurement but does not automatically erase information already processed.
